28 February, 2019. Dr. Maria Venianaki, a fellow at SI Lab, has discussed her doctoral thesis at the School for Advanced Study IMT (Lucca), achieving the PhD in Institutions, Markets And Technologies for the Curriculum in Image Analysis. The thesis, titled “Cancer tissue classification from DCE-MRI data using pattern recognition techniques”, was prepared under the supervision of Prof. Rocco Di Nicola, Dott. Ovidio Salvetti and Prof. Kostas Marias.
The members of the Committee have unanimously assessed her work as excellent and proposed to award Ms Venianaki the PhD Qualification.
